Interactive Dairy Experience at Taman Pintar – XMTN

Creating engaging educational experiences for families requires more than just information—it needs immersion, interaction, and a touch of wonder. That’s exactly what we brought to life with the Sari Husada at Taman Pintar Yogyakarta project, a 100-square-meter interactive zone designed to take children and families on a journey through the world of dairy production.

A Playful Exploration of Milk Production

Commissioned by Sari Husada, the producer of SGM milk, this project was envisioned as an interactive learning space that simulates the processes inside a dairy factory. Instead of simply explaining how milk is produced, we transformed the entire experience into a hands-on adventure, where visitors become part of the production process.

From Farm to Factory – Interactive Installations

To bring this concept to life, we developed multiple attractions, each designed to highlight different aspects of milk production in a fun and engaging way:

🔬 Augmented Reality Lab Coats – Before stepping into the “factory,” visitors must gear up like real dairy scientists. Through an augmented reality (AR) experience, children can see themselves wearing lab coats, setting the tone for their journey.

🚴 Cycling for Pasteurization – Visitors hop on stationary bikes to simulate the milk pasteurization process. As they pedal, they “heat” the milk, visualized through an engaging display, making the science behind pasteurization both active and entertaining.

Automation Robotic – An interactive robotic automation exhibit showcases the process of mixing essential nutrients and ingredients in milk, simulating the journey from raw components to the final product. This hands-on experience allows visitors to witness the precision and technology behind dairy production, making learning both engaging and educational.

🌍 Video Mapping Scientists – A dynamic video mapping installation features dairy scientists from around the world, explaining the global research and innovation behind safe and nutritious milk production.

🔨 Whack-a-Mole Distribution Game – A fast-paced game inspired by the classic Whack-a-Mole teaches kids about milk distribution, showing how products move from factories to homes across the country.

🐄 Milking Simulation with Sound Effects – For a fully immersive experience, a milking station complete with life-sized cow udders allows children to experience the milking process firsthand. Authentic cow sounds play upon interaction, making it an unforgettable sensory activity.

Bridging Education and Entertainment

By combining gamification, physical interaction, and digital technology, we created an environment where learning feels like play. This project is not just about understanding milk production but also about fostering curiosity, encouraging movement, and creating memorable moments for young minds.

With Sari Husada at Taman Pintar Yogyakarta, we demonstrated how an ordinary process—like producing a carton of milk—can be turned into a captivating experience that educates, inspires, and delights.
