1999 – Stepping into the Digital World

Our founder took the first leap into interactive technology by developing a website with a database system for a 3-on-3 basketball competition in Bandung.

Early 2000s – Games & Brand Activations

Created desktop games for brand activation programs, collaborating with event organizers to deliver immersive digital experiences.

2004 – The Birth of XMTN (Xtraordinary Motion)

XMTN emerged as a creative collective under the name Xtraordinary Motion, initially formed as a visual jockey (VJ) group under XSpinn (Xtraordinary Spinner), a DJ management company based in Bogor.

2004-2010 – From VJ Performances to Interactive Experiences

After years of performing as VJs in clubs and music festivals, XMTN began evolving towards visual installations and interactive applications for brand activations—expanding from entertainment into experiential design.

2015 – XMTN Goes Independent

Breaking away from XSpinn, XMTN was officially established as an independent business entity under CV Eka Inti Karya, sharpening its focus on web and app development while continuing to redefine interactive experiences.

2015-Present – Advancing Interactive Installations & Digital Solutions

Working alongside DSGN and creative contractors, XMTN continues to craft state-of-the-art interactive installations, develop web and mobile applications, and engineer seamless digital interactions that connect brands with audiences.

And the journey is far from over.
